MASTERPIECES TATTOOS is DG Wilson's art studio. Masterpieces Art Studio is the creative center for your custom designed art. No matter your desire, Tattoos Portraits, Fine Art, Illustrations, or even exclusive clothing you benefit from this exotic studio & approach because it offers DG the ability to give you the best of DG's God given talents.

DG WILSON the sole artist of this unique shop. Masterpieces Art Studio & DG is located on the ground level of a private building located on a quiet tree lined block in beautiful Bed Stuy Brooklyn, New York City. The tree lined blocks creates a peaceful and artistic environment. If you stand before the large hand painted mural by DG Wilson, which is right in front of the studio, you will see no less than four churches. In fact Masterpieces is right next to one. That tells you that Masterpieces is not your typical tattoo parlor, rather it is an artistic environment that helps you achieve your own original God Sanctioned custom designed tattoo.

Your tattoo will be custom designed just for you, as you want it, further DG Wilson will hand draw (usually right before your eyes or on you freehand) your tattoo for your skin, musculature, personality and budget! Incredibly DG Wilson takes tattoos even further into a personal work of art designed just for you. Often he will ask why you want your tattoo, what does it mean to you to get a better idea of the inner message that you want to convey to others.

As an versatile artist DG Wilson also does coverups, fixes tattoos, recolors, adds on and ties tattoos together to create a unified piece or the sleeve look.

DG Wilson can do Special effects too. Tattoos, even portraits can be made to look like they were in other times and places. DG can make you art look like it was made out of stone, marble, steel, chrome, gold, wood, tearing out of your skin, smashed into your skin, cut in, floating off, under the skin, going in and out, made out of smoke, smoke behind, a tattoo with clouds, steam or fire...even made out of fire, crystal and so on...

HOW TO GET A MASTERPIECE BY DG:

Getting a Custom Hand Drawn Tattoo from DG Wilson is very easy...simply submit your request on a $100 dollar bill and slip it under the door... just kidding!

Before you call DG Wilson and prattle on about some tattoo you never will get, first decide what you want for a tattoo, where you want it and about how much you want to spend on your piece. There is a $50 minium for any tattoo.

How much will your tattoo cost? This is a CUSTOM ONLY art studio so prices for tattoos are very, very flexible. DG Wilson can take a big piece, throw out a few of his tricks and keep the price down, or you can get a highly detailed time consuming piece that is small for the same price. DG is very fair. Since he is drawing up your tattoo from scratch you have a lot of leeway in the price. DG can put in one shade of grey or 10 or color for a more richer look. That is determined by you and your budget. Often DG will give you a range of prices from which you can choose how much you want to devote to yourself. This allows you more flexibility in your tattoo, so you can get what you want without hurting your wallet too. DG Wilson can even divide up the work with the payments so you can get a bigger tattoo that doesn't hurt your budget. (Minium for any visit is $50.)

Next determine if you want a Masterpiece when you stop in and get the tattoo on the day of your appointment, or if you want an ULTIMATE Masterpiece. This is where DG takes his own time after tattoo hours and does a detailed sketch or drawing. Ultimate Masterpieces require a deposit which goes toward the final cost of your tattoo. You can always add onto your tattoo as well. Maybe get color next time, or add some more background and so on. Most tattoos are priced per piece. Ultra Masterpieces can be charged per hour. There is a $300 dollar an hour fee for this type of work because DG works so quickly and gets much done in a short time.

When you have established what you want, where, how much you want to spend and if you want to get the tattoo that day or if you want to leave a deposit for a drawing, THEN call DG Wilson at the shop to set up an appointment, (do not knock on the door.) Call 718 398 6876.

If DG is busy working then LEAVE A MESSAGE on the first call, (do not hang up and call back.) DG Wilson is the only artist and person in the shop, so he is very busy, be patient and he will call you back. (If for some reason he has an artistic memory lapse or if DG could not hear your number correctly on your message... even he admits he tattoos secretaries better than acts like one... simply give another call a couple of days later!) DG Wilson wants you to get your Masterpiece and he wants to do it right that is why he works by appointment, this ensures that everyone can become a Masterpiece! Remember though, there is only one of him.

When you actually talk to DG on the phone tell him what you decided as to what you want, where and about how much you want to spend and if you want to get the tattoo that day or if you want a CONSULTATION which means you leave a deposit for a drawing. If you want a Special effect then tell DG that too. He will place you in his schedule that works best for him, try to be flexible. Most appointments are handled within a week of the call. No Minors should even call, you MUST be 18 years or older with ID to get a tattoo.

On the day of your appointment SHOW UP ON TIME. DG runs a tight schedule and if you miss your appointment then you run the risk of being rescheduled. PLEASE no children under the age of 12 in the shop at all, do not use DG's shop like a sitter, he needs to concentrate on your tattoo not what yours kids are doing to his place.
